Luminaire Authentik is a Quebec-based lighting company recognized for its craftsmanship, custom-made products, and authentic design approach. We collaborate with architects, interior designers, and industry professionals across North America to create high-end lighting solutions for residential and commercial projects.
As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Remote Sales Representative based in Vancouver to develop and grow our presence across the West Coast and the United States.
This role is fully remote and offers a high level of autonomy, flexibility, and entrepreneurial opportunity.
The selected candidate will play a key role in establishing and growing our West Coast presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and grow the B2B market across the West Coast and the United States
- Prospect and build relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, contractors, and commercial clients
- Develop and manage a portfolio of strategic accounts
- Maintain strong relationships and provide ongoing support to existing clients
- Conduct virtual and occasional in-person meetings with clients and industry professionals
- Represent Luminaire Authentik within the design and architectural community
- Prepare quotes and follow up on sales opportunities and projects
- Develop strong knowledge of industry trends and the Luminaire Authentik product catalog
- Collaborate with internal teams including design, production, and management to ensure project success
- Participate in networking events, trade opportunities, and business development initiatives when relevant
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the customer experience and internal processes
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, business development, interior design, or a related field
- Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and develop business opportunities
- Experience in the design, architecture, lighting, furniture, or construction industry is considered a strong asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Autonomous, organized, entrepreneurial, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- English fluency required, both oral and written
- French is considered an asset but is not required
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally
Assets
- Existing network within the design and architectural industry
- Experience with trade and specification sales
- AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, or related design software knowledge
Schedule
- Flexible schedule
- 5 days per week
- Remote / work-from-home position
- Occasional travel required for meetings, events, and business development opportunities
Compensation
Compensation: $80,000 annually + commissions, based on experience.
