Licensed Plumber (Newfoundland & Labrador) – Red Seal PreferredOverview
AMBZ Property Service Inc. is seeking a skilled and licensed Plumber to join our growing team in Newfoundland & Labrador.
The successful candidate must hold a valid plumbing licence recognized in Newfoundland & Labrador and be legally authorized to perform plumbing work in the province.
We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused professional with strong hands-on experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing systems. Candidates with a Red Seal Endorsement (RSE) are strongly preferred, though equivalent qualifications will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot plumbing systems, including:
- Water supply systems
- Drainage and waste systems
- Fixtures, faucets, toilets, sinks, and showers
- Hot water tanks and plumbing appliances
- Piping systems and related components
- Perform plumbing work in compliance with:
- Newfoundland & Labrador plumbing codes
- Building regulations
- Occupational health and safety requirements
- Licensing and trade standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and project specifications
- Diagnose plumbing issues accurately and complete repairs efficiently
- Conduct inspections, preventative maintenance, and system testing
- Install new plumbing systems for renovation, maintenance, and construction projects
- Coordinate with project managers, maintenance staff, contractors, and other trades
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and service recommendations
- Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas remain clean, organized, and safe
- Respond to emergency plumbing service calls when required
- Assist with related construction, renovation, or maintenance work as needed
Mandatory Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Valid Plumber Licence recognized in Newfoundland & Labrador
- Journeyperson Plumber certification or equivalent recognized trade qualification
- Proven hands-on plumbing experience in residential and/or commercial settings
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation methods, and code compliance
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s licence
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces
- Professional attitude, reliability, and strong attention to detail
- Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are considered strong assets:
- Red Seal Endorsement (RSE)
- Experience in renovation, property maintenance, or construction environments
- Gas fitting certification (if applicable)
- Experience with hydronic heating or mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience supervising apprentices or junior team members
