Our client:
A leading full-service law firm based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of one of their divisions. This is a senior role ideal for a bilingual professional with a background in professional services or legal environments who thrives at the intersection of strategy, finance, and people management.
Principal tasks and responsibilities include:

Collaborate with division leadership to support operational and strategic decision-making

Provide strategic support on profitability, pricing, and resource allocation

Plan and oversee daily division operations, implementing and optimizing processes
-
Develop and manage the division's annual budget in collaboration with the finance department
-
Produce monthly reporting including workflow metrics and data analysis

Manage and develop direct reports across the full employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, performance management, compensation, development, and offboarding

Support long-term planning and assess future resource needs (lawyers, paralegals, legal assistants)
Qualifications and pre-requisites:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources

Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience, ideally within a professional services firm or law firm

Full bilingualism in French and English (required)

Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
