Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Welder to join our team in Richmond, BC. This role involves performing welding repairs, fabrication projects, equipment modifications, and on-site service work within industrial and manufacturing environments.
The ideal candidate has strong welding and metal fabrication experience, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. This position offers opportunities for professional growth, training, and advancement within a growing industrial maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding repairs on industrial equipment, machinery, structural components, and production systems.
- Complete fabrication and custom welding projects based on drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Respond to service calls and perform on-site repairs at customer facilities.
- Inspect damaged equipment and determine appropriate repair methods.
- Operate welding equipment, cutting tools, grinders, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Create drawings based on customers requirements
- Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and preventative maintenance activities.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards, safety regulations, and customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, service work, materials used, and project progress.
- Collaborate with customers, supervisors, and team members to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications & Skills
- Journeyman Welder certification preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Additional welding certifications, including CWB qualifications, are considered an asset.
- Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding processes.
- Strong metal fabrication, fitting, and repair skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Experience working with industrial equipment, manufacturing facilities, or heavy machinery is an asset.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites for service calls.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift materials, work in confined spaces, and perform demanding tasks as required.What We Offer

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
