Healthcare Aid Needed for Quadriplegic Individual

Schedule:
This position requires a consistent commitment weekday mornings, from 7:00 a.m. to approximately 12:00 p.m. and evenings 8:15 p.m. to approximately 10:15 p.m. Successful candidates will also be needed to cover other shifts and work casual when needed.
Responsibilities:
The role of a Healthcare Aid encompasses a range of responsibilities focused on providing comprehensive care and support:
- Personal Care: Assist with daily personal care tasks, including dressing, showering, grooming, and other hygiene needs.
- Safe Transfers: Utilize manual and overhead ceiling lifts to safely transfer the client between bed, wheelchair, and other locations.
- Care Plan Adherence: Follow the client's established care plan to ensure consistent and appropriate care.
- Environmental Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized living environment to promote the client's health and safety.
- Transportation and Errands: Assist with occasional transportation to appointments, social events, and errands as needed.

- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required for occasional transportation tasks.
- Healthcare Training (Preferred): Previous experience or training in healthcare is a plus but not mandatory.
Compensation:
Starting wage is $27, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
