Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, with opportunities to work with heavy equipment and perform basic automotive repairs as needed. The position offers a dynamic work environment where attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate AZ licensed commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklift or other heavy equipment when necessary
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Assist with the operation of heavy equipment and perform minor automotive repairs if required
- Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws during transportation activities
- Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to scheduled routes and deadlines
Skills
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving, including long-haul or local routes
- Proficiency in forklift operation and handling freight logistics
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repair skills
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, loading, unloading, and operating heavy machinery as needed
Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
