Job Description:
Whitbie's Diner is looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Server / Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with customers, handling food and beverages, and creating quality drinks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages (coffee, espresso drinks, iced drinks, etc.)
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle food safely and follow food safety standards
- Serve food to customers
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming environment
- Operate POS/cash register and handle payments
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining area, and equipment
- Restock supplies as needed
- Follow opening and closing procedures when required
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of coffee drinks and cold beverages (training provided if needed)
- Ability to handle food safely and hygienically
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently during short shifts
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Previous barista or serving experience is an asset, but not required
Availability:
