Our client, a leading service and installation organization is looking to hire Aircraft Assemblers/Millwrights/Tool & Die Makers/Mechanical Assemblers on a project basis. This is a day shift role offering excellent working experience. In this position, you will learn how to install and assemble mechanical equipment. This is a role in Ontario.
Responsibilities:
- Must be safety oriented
- Ability to perform mechanical assembly of equipment and mechanical systems such as conveyors
- Machinery troubleshooting
- Layout principles
- Accurately Blueprint reading
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Knowledge and experience with machine tools
- Operate hand tools safely
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs, as heavy lifting is required
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Millwright, Mechanical Assembler, Aircraft Assembler, Tool and Die Maker, Welder are all considered
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must be Available to Start Immediately
- Valid Forklift License
- Valid Working at Heights safety certification
- Valid Elevated work Platform
- Must av own basic hand tools
- Must be able to read blueprints
