About Us
Proactive Property Management is a Kingston-based property management company overseeing a growing portfolio of residential rental properties. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented cleaner to assist with occasional Airbnb cleans, move-out/move-in turnover cleans, and general unit cleaning as needed.
This is a flexible, casual role that would be a good fit for someone who already does cleaning work, has availability between jobs, or wants occasional extra work throughout the month.
Responsibilities
- Complete cleaning for short-term rental/Airbnb turnovers
- Clean vacant units between tenants
- Wash floors, clean kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, windows, baseboards, and common touchpoints
- Remove garbage and report any damage, missing items, or maintenance concerns
- Restock basic supplies when required
- Take before/after photos when requested
- Ensure units are clean, presentable, and ready for incoming tenants or guests
- Communicate clearly with the property management team regarding timing, access, and any issues found during the clean
What We’re Looking For
- Previous residential, Airbnb, hotel, or turnover cleaning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in different properties throughout Kingston
- Able to meet deadlines, especially around move-in dates or guest check-ins
- Good communication by phone/text/email
- Access to reliable transportation is strongly preferred
- Must be comfortable occasionally working on short notice
Schedule
This is an occasional/as-needed position. Work may include:
- Airbnb turnovers between guest stays
- End-of-month and beginning-of-month tenant turnover cleans
- Occasional weekday or weekend work
- Time-sensitive cleans before new tenants or guests arrive
Hours will vary depending on property needs.
Compensation
Pay will be based on experience and the type/size of clean required. Please include your expected hourly rate or flat-rate structure when applying.
