Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Sandwich Maker to join our team. This role involves preparing delicious sandwiches, providing excellent customer service, and managing transactions accurately in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong multitasking skills, and have a passion for delivering a positive dining experience.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders and payments
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change
- Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections, upselling items when appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Ensure food handling procedures are followed to uphold hygiene and safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with kitchen duties when required
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally
Qualifications
- Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation, food handling, and sanitation standards is advantageous
- Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends or evenings if needed
- A positive attitude, team player mentality, and a commitment to food safety standards
- 6 Month - 1Year of fast food experience from Burger King, Wendy's, A&W or McDonald is preferred.
Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour
