Overview
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Blade Repair Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with experience operating various tools. The Repair Technician will play a critical role in supporting the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our operations through hands-on technical work and problem-solving expertise.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on wind turbine equipment using hand tools, power tools, and rigging techniques
- Conduct troubleshooting to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions
- Assist with rigging and lifting operations to safely move heavy components or machinery
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize repair tasks and improve operational efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience in blade repair
- Valid IRATA Level 3
- Blade Repair ticket
- GWO certifications
- Availability for the 2026 season
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in repairing heavy machinery and equipment
- Electrical experience, particularly with low voltage systems and wiring repairs
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and rigging techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently
- Excellent safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols during all repair activities
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $30.00-$47.00 per hour
