Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and personable Beautician and Hairstylist to join our salon team. In this role, you will provide expert hair styling services, esthetician sevices(threading, waxing and facial), manicure, pedicure and deliver exceptional customer care, and create a welcoming environment for clients. Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, blowouts, and treatments tailored to client preferences
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety
- Engage in retail sales by recommending hair care products and styling accessories to clients
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and professional demeanor
- Stay current with industry trends and techniques through ongoing education and training
Requirements
- Proven experience as a beautician or hairstylist with a strong portfolio of work (atleast 1 year)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures in a salon environment
- Ability to upsell products and services in a friendly, non-pushy manner
- Strong communication skills to understand client needs and explain styling options clearly.(FRENCH would an asset)
- Experience with retail sales within a salon setting is preferred
- Front desk experience is a plus, including appointment scheduling and payment processing.
