Monette Produce is seeking Seasonal Farm Operators to support our vegetable harvest operations from September to November in Outlook, Saskatchewan.
This is a harvest position that requires a strong commitment during the peak harvest season. Harvest is weather-dependent and time-sensitive, requiring extended shifts, weekend work, early mornings, late evenings, and, at times, multiple consecutive days of work. Candidates must be willing and able to meet these demands throughout the September to November harvest period.
This role is centered around the safe and efficient operation of agricultural equipment to support all aspects of harvest. Farm Operators play a vital role in harvesting vegetables, transporting crops and materials, preparing fields, and ensuring equipment is operated safely and efficiently to keep harvest operations on schedule.
What You'll Do
- Operate a variety of agricultural equipment, including tractors, forklifts, and harvest machinery
- Harvest vegetables and transport crops, materials, and supplies between fields, storage facilities, and production areas
- Perform field operations such as cultivation, field preparation, and other seasonal tasks as assigned
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair requirements
- Keep equipment clean and maintained to a high operational standard
- Assist with loading and unloading harvested product and farm materials
- Support warehouse and harvest operations when equipment is not in use
- Follow all farm safety, equipment operating, and food safety procedures
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience operating agricultural equipment
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and report equipment concerns
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced agricultural environment
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing and able to work long hours during harvest, including weekends and periods where operational demands may require working more than seven (7) consecutive days
- Must have valid class 5 license and your own reliable transportation to commute to and from the main warehouse
