Breakout Saint John is currently hiring a part-time Gamemaster. We offer a fun work environment and are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills who will go above and beyond to make sure our clients have a great time when they come to play our games.
For this hiring round, we are also looking for someone with marketing experience. In addition to your Gamemaster responsibilities, you will also respond to customer emails and social media inquiries, make regular posts to various social media channels, send out email marketing, and suggest other marketing initiatives. Experience making content and growing an audience is a must! Experience with Google or Facebook ads is also a bonus!
Gamemasters at Breakout Saint John greet and check in players, provide player orientation and in-game guidance, reset rooms between bookings, take team photos, answer phones, and respond to email inquiries while providing an awesome player experience. As a small business, we all share in cleaning and maintenance duties as well.
Gamemasters provide excellent customer service to our players at all times. The ideal Gamemaster cares deeply about people and will put players’ needs before their own. They go above and beyond to ensure players have the best experience possible while maintaining safety standards. We are looking for someone who is personable, enthusiastic, fun-loving, pays close attention to detail, has a strong work ethic, is able to work independently, has excellent communication skills, enjoys working in fast paced environments and is a team player. Initative and creativity are also important for the marketing aspect of the position.
Skills in puzzle design, carpentry, coding, micro electronics, or graphic design are all considered assets so if you have any of these skills, please let us know.
