Foreman Electrician - Projects Across the Lower Mainland

Our client is looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman to oversee institutional, commercial, and industrial electrical construction projects in the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland regions. The Foreman will coordinate daily operations, plan workflows, and collaborate with project teams to ensure timelines, quality, and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical crews (typically 4–8 workers), with potential to oversee larger teams and projects.
- Coordinate day-to-day site activities and communicate with the Site Superintendent, Project Manager, and other trades.
- Develop and maintain a 2-week look-ahead schedule to ensure project milestones are met.
- Organize manpower and materials to align with project schedules and productivity goals.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and electrical codes to make informed site decisions.
- Procure and verify materials, ensuring timely deliveries and accurate documentation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and address issues before they impact timelines.
- Track changes, extras, as-builts, and time-and-material work for accurate reporting.
- Maintain daily site records, including delays, crew size, and safety incidents.
- Coordinate electrical installations with other trades to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Enforce safety protocols, including hazard assessments, toolbox talks, and lock-out procedures.
- Mentor Journeymen and Apprentices, fostering a culture of growth and accountability.

Qualifications
- Valid Interprovincial / Red Seal Journeyman Electrician certification.
- Experience leading electrical crews in commercial or institutional settings.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and electrical codes.
- In-depth knowledge of conduit, distribution systems, lighting, fire alarms, and electrical installations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ownership of essential hand tools and a valid driver’s license.
- Clean criminal record (mandatory for project compliance).

Pay: $42.00-$58.00 per hour
