Cooke Store Fixtures is a locally owned supplier to the retail and commercial sector. From the smallest corner kiosk to the larger local businesses, we have products that display their merchandise. In addition to offering a wide array of stock merchandising aids and display equipment, we provide complete store fixturing or standalone displays.
We are looking for a Store Manager/General Manager. The ideal candidate would be a mature person who demonstrates a strong entrepreneurial spirit and is looking for a good work/personal life balance.
Job duties will include but not limited to:
- Provide exceptional customer service with specific product knowledge and a proactive attitude towards qualifying customer needs and providing optimal solutions.
- Provide day to day direction to other team members to assist customers on front desk, emails, web and phone
- Provide quotations for custom products to small and large businesses throughout Atlantic Canada
- Work with a small team in maintaining the presentation of the sales floor and keeping merchandise organized and fully stocked to support sales
- Work closely with the President and Controller to establish sales goals for the store sales and web sales
Requirements:
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit
- Experience and knowledge in understanding the day-to-day running of a small business
- Ability to lead a small team of employees, train them to succeed and hold them accountable for work ethic, performance and company standards
- Previous customer service/sales experience is required
- Self-starter with strong ability to perform in a multi-task environment
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
