Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor as they arrive.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient seating of guests based on their preferences and restaurant capacity.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about the menu, reservations, and special events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Assist in managing reservations through the POS system effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs and concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Help create a positive dining experience by ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
