Dock Door and Loading Dock Technician Required for Immediate position.
*** $30.00 - $40.00 /hour ***
Existing 60 Year Old Company with large presence in the GTA.
Must have minimum 3 years experience, Clean Drivers License (G class), and expected to be a lead hand.
Company truck provided, fully equipped with welder, torches, large hand tools etc.
Access and use of company boom truck for easy installations.
Gas card for company vehicle.
Full health benefit plan after 3 months.
Responsibilities include:
- Must possess good working knowledge of overhead doors and able to analyze and diagnose problems and the mechanical knowledge to repair as needed.
- Must be able to analyze and diagnose dock levelers, vehicle restraints, and electrical.
- Requires ability to install dock equipment including shelters, seals, lights, bollards, vehicle restraints, levelers, high speed doors, and overhead doors.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance inspections on warehouse facilities
- Must possess good welding skills.
- Good positive attitude and good work ethic
Requirements include:
- Provide 5 star customer service
- Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proficient in diagnosing electronic, mechanical and hydraulic repairs.
- Able to complete paperwork
