Lead by example by maintaining the highest standards of food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and professionalism during every service.

Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs in overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth service execution.

Prepare and cook menu items efficiently while maintaining presentation and quality standards.

Set up and stock stations with all necessary ingredients and supplies for service.

Complete mise en place, prep lists, and station organization to ensure service readiness.

Prepare cooking ingredients, including butchering meats, chopping vegetables, and preparing sauces and other components.

Monitor food quality, portioning, and consistency throughout service.

Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure all dishes are prepared and served accurately and in a timely manner.

Support the training, mentoring, and development of Line Cooks and Prep Cooks by sharing knowledge and reinforcing best practices.

Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, waste reduction, and communicating ordering needs to leadership.

Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety standards are consistently followed.

Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative kitchen culture while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.

3+ years of experience as a Line Cook, with previous experience in a senior or leadership role preferred.

Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations in a high-volume environment.

Proven ability to lead by example and support the development of junior team members.

Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Valid Food Handler Certificate.

Authorization to work in Canada.
