- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Forestry, Math or Accounting equivalent, or a background in Contract
Management (i.e. contract professional or equivalent). Applicants with a Diploma in Technology from an Institute of
Technology are also eligible, provided they have relevant field experience in project management or work execution.
- Intermediate technical knowledge in a specific field (i.e. Engineering, Technical, Trade, Business, Finance or Sciences)
with some general knowledge of other fields.
- 3-5 years of experience in program or project management (preferably in a utility, engineering, natural resource setting or
construction environment).
- The successful candidate must have a keen grasp of program / project management, various delivery models, contracting
strategies, building process flows.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is considered
an asset.
- Strong program / project management skills, strong relationship, facilitation and management skills and the ability to work
in an unstructured environment.
- Must be able to effectively manage multi-discipline program teams and oversee external contractors.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively to
both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical skills to identify gaps and opportunities for process improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including asset managers, engineers, contractors,
Indigenous relations, safety, environmental teams, property managers, and field crews—critical to success in this role.
- The successful candidate must have experience with SAP, Excel, Tableau to be able to be able to track and report on
Transmission Program Progress and Processes.
<Qualifications>
- Diploma in Business Administration (with coursework or experience in business and/or data analysis and modelling) or an
equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three (3) years of demonstrated work experience in analysis and troubleshooting with exposure to metering and field
device network systems, processes, routines, and procedures or equivalent demonstrated work experience.
