We are seeking an experienced Lead Landscape Designer to join our growing team. This is an opportunity for a creative, detail-oriented professional to lead the design of exceptional residential properties while working alongside one of the industry's premier landscape design-build companies. Responsibilities
- Lead luxury residential landscape projects from concept through construction.
- Meet with homeowners to understand their vision, lifestyle, and project goals.
- Prepare innovative landscape concepts, construction drawings, grading plans, planting plans, and lighting plans.
- Create high-quality 3D renderings and client presentations.
- Prepare project budgets and estimates.
- Present designs professionally and confidently to clients.
- Obtain and coordinate all required municipal permits and approvals, including working with municipalities, conservation authorities, and other governing agencies.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and construction teams throughout each project.
- Conduct site visits to ensure design intent and quality standards are achieved.
- Stay current with industry trends, premium materials, and construction techniques.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing high-end residential landscapes.
- Diploma or Degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Horticulture, or a related field.
- Proven experience obtaining municipal permits and coordinating project approvals.
- Strong understanding of grading, drainage, zoning requirements, and landscape construction.
- Proficient with:
- Dynascape
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- Lumion, Twinmotion, or similar rendering software
- Microsoft Office
- Strong portfolio showcasing luxury residential projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence.
