About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Employee Relations Coordinator to support day-to-day employee relations, recruitment activities, onboarding, compliance, and administrative functions within a fast-paced industrial environment. This position plays a key role in supporting employees, managers, and operational teams while ensuring HR processes are executed efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
- Maintain employee records and ensure accurate documentation in compliance with company policies and employment legislation.
- Assist with recruitment activities including posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and candidate communication.
- Support employee relations by responding to routine HR inquiries and escalating concerns when appropriate.
- Track attendance, leaves of absence, vacation requests, and other employee-related records.
- Assist with workplace investigations, disciplinary documentation, and performance management administration.
- Prepare employment letters, policy acknowledgements, and other HR-related documentation.
- Support payroll administration by ensuring employee information, timesheets, and attendance records are submitted accurately and on time.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive company data.
- Assist with health and safety programs, training records, and compliance reporting.
- Generate reports and provide administrative support to management as required.
- Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of Ontario Employment Standards Act (ESA) and HR best practices.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- CHRP designation or working toward certification is considered an asset.
