General Manager (Transportation and Logistics)
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead operations within a well-established transportation and logistic environment.
This is a confidential search for a leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving performance, and ensuring strong alignment between operational execution and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership across operations, staff, and service deliver
- Drive operational efficiency, cost control, and service excellence
- Lead, coach, and develop frontline leadership and staff
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Collaborate with senior leadership to execute strategic initiatives
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements where needed
- Foster a positive, accountable, and performance driven culture
Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or operational environment
- Strong people leadership and team development capabilities
- Proven ability to manage operations, budgets, and performance metrics
- Solid understanding of compliance, safety, and operational best practices
- Excellent communication, decision making, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on when required
