Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our roofing team. This role involves assisting with various roofing projects, performing manual labor, and supporting skilled trades. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new skills in a dynamic environment. Prior experience with hand tools, carpentry, or handyman work is a plus but not required. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in construction and building trades to gain valuable hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites
- Use hand tools to perform tasks such as cutting, measuring, and assembling materials
- Support roofer and other tradespeople with their duties
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Operate basic handyman tools to complete small repairs or installations
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain a clean work area and properly store tools and materials
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools and basic construction equipment
- Experience in carpentry, caulking, or handyman work is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks on the job site
