Leachmans Plumbing & Heating is an established local company entering an exciting expansion phase. We’re looking for motivated 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year plumbing apprentices who want to sharpen their skills, learn from experienced journeypersons, and progress quickly toward becoming top-tier plumbers.
This is not a “carry material and dig holes” apprenticeship. You’ll be involved in real work, real systems, and real problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, fitting, and assembling piping and fixtures
- Participate in the assembly of plumbing components according to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to building codes during all phases of work
- Perform basic math calculations related to measurements, quantities, and material estimates
Skills
- What We’re Looking For
- Registered 2nd, 3rd or 4th year plumbing apprentice
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Shows up prepared and takes pride in work
- Can work independently but communicates well with team
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to learn new skills related to plumbing installation, troubleshooting, and system maintenance
This apprenticeship provides valuable training opportunities for individuals interested in building a career in plumbing. Candidates should be prepared for a hands-on learning environment that emphasizes safety, teamwork, and professional growth.
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
