Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Coordinator located in Concord, ON.
- Coordinate procurement and tendering activities for ongoing and upcoming projects
- Review and prepare tender submissions and supporting documentation
- Monitor bid opportunities and manage submissions through platforms such as MERX, Biddingo, Construction Connect, Bonfire, Bids&Tenders, etc.
- Complete and coordinate contractor prequalification packages and forms
- Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing, scopes, and required documents
- Follow up with trades and vendors to ensure deadlines are met
- Assist with bid reviews, quotation comparisons, and procurement tracking
- Maintain organized records of tenders, suppliers, and procurement documents
- Work closely with estimating and project management teams throughout the tendering process
Qualifications
- Experience in procurement, tender coordination, estimating support, or a similar role within the construction industry
- Good understanding of public and private tendering processes
- Experience using tendering and procurement platforms such as MERX, Biddingo, Construction Connect, Bonfire, Bids&Tenders, Avetta, etc.
- Familiarity with contractor prequalification requirements and documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines at the same time
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, along with construction procurement or estimating software
- Experience working for a general contractor is required
Pay: $60,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
