Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced 310T Diesel Mechanic to join our team.( brand new 30.000 lb rotary 4 post lift ) This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy-duty diesel equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, heavy equipment maintenance, and electrical systems, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to work with diverse machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, and industrial equipment. The 310T Diesel Mechanic plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and optimal performance of our fleet and equipment.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines and trucks .
- Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and system inspections.
- Use hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Repair or replace faulty components on all types of vehicles.
- Operate or assist with heavy equipment operation as needed for testing or repair purposes.
- Weld or perform fabrication tasks to repair damaged parts or structures.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Document repairs and maintenance activities accurately for record keeping.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service tasks.
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with heavy-duty diesel engines; dealership experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with diesel engines, HVAC systems, welding, and industrial equipment repairs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment when necessary.
- Experience in automotive repair with a focus on diesel engines is desirable.
- Electrical experience related to industrial machinery is a plus.
- Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting with clients or team members regarding repairs or maintenance issues.
- Knowledge of schematics for troubleshooting electrical or mechanical systems is advantageous.
- This position requires a dedicated professional with excellent technical skills and the ability to handle complex repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
