Are you ready to make a difference? We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible volunteers to join our team and create an unforgettable summer experience for the campers! The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and will be able to create a safe and fun environment for campers. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading activities, supervising campers, and ensuring the safety of all participants. They should also be able to communicate effectively with parents and other staff members.
Work Period: July 4th to August 11th (Monday to Friday, a total of 6 weeks, minimum commitment of 3 weeks).
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Location: Join us at the vibrant summer camp hosted at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Catholic School，75 Alexmuir Blvd, Scarborough, ON M1V 1H6, a public elementary school supported by the Education Bureau.
As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to:
- Assist the lead teachers in classroom activities.
- Support camp management and logistical work.
- Participate in teaching and guiding campers.
- Utilize your creativity in engaging educational projects.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise campers and ensure their safety.
- Organize and assist the teacher to do the activities such as sports, games, crafts, and other recreational activities.
- Maintain a positive attitude and be a role model for campers.
- Be knowledgeable of camp rules and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and staff.
- Assist in the development of campers’ social skills and character building.
