Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Support Workers to provide exceptional in-home care services to clients in need. This role involves assisting individuals with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide medication administration following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Support clients with dementia or disabilities through specialized caregiving techniques
- Assist with mobility and transfer assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Follow care plans developed by healthcare providers to ensure consistent and effective care delivery
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, and medication administration is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs safely
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with clients and their families
- Ability to work independently while following established care protocols
- Certification or training in home care or nursing assistance is a plus but not mandatory
- Must be reliable, respectful, and committed to providing high-quality personal care services
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
