ABL Employment - ACES Recruitment Division is activley recruiting for a Day shift Shipper/ Receiver for our client in Newmarket . Reliable and organized Shipping Clerk to join our warehouse team. The Shipping Clerk is responsible for overseeing the inbound and outbound flow of goods, ensuring shipments are prepared accurately, inventory records are maintained, and deliveries are completed on time. This position combines physical warehouse responsibilities with computer-based inventory and shipping administration.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily inbound and outbound flow of materials and finished goods.
- Prepare, package, label, and stage customer orders for shipment.
- Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders, reporting any discrepancies.
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming inventory.
- Update inventory databases and maintain accurate warehouse records.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through routine cycle counts and inventory management activities.
- Coordinate with carriers to ensure on-time deliveries and pickups.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, Raymond Reach trucks, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to safely move materials.
- Load and unload trucks while following company safety procedures.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
- Assist with other warehouse and shipping duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics is preferred.
- Valid Forklift and Raymond Reach Truck certification/license is required.
- Good computer skills with experience using inventory management or warehouse software.
- Ability to accurately prepare shipping documentation and maintain inventory records.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
