As a Material Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring our internal customers have the materials they need while supporting Maintenance and Procurement teams. Your days will include:
- Working PM shift hours (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM) with flexibility to cover other shifts as required
- Receiving deliveries, organizing materials, and scanning items in and out of the store
- Assisting the Procurement team with data entry, reporting, and clerical tasks
- Conducting cycle counts, spot counts, and variance investigations to maintain accurate inventory records
- Advising and following up on special order items with appropriate personnel
- Completion of daily reports and other reports as requested
- Providing excellent customer service while supporting team efficiency
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- Valid driver’s license
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; accounting and data entry experience is an asset
- Mechanical aptitude and/or parts store experience is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to perform physical tasks and operate motorized equipment (telehandler, shunt truck, high-rise)
