Responsibilities
- Delivers warm and connected guest service, handle guest inquiries and manage reservations and front desk check-ins
- Monitor mobile check-ins and guest responses using GXP platform
- Takes ownership of guest complaints, finding creative ways to solve problems and follow-ups with the guest
- Assists guests with questions regarding the hotel and local area
- Follows all cash-handling procedures; maintain a balanced float assigned by the hotel
- Coordinate with housekeeping, switchboard and bellpersons for service needs
- Performs other tasks assigned by management
Requirements
- Flexible availability to work any shift (mornings, afternoons and evenings) throughout Monday to Sunday, including weekdays, public holidays and weekends. Hours may vary based on business requirements.
- Is a friendly, energetic person who prides themselves on creating memorable guest experiences through warm & genuine service
- Has previous customer service experience, hotel experience in a Front Office role strongly preferred
- Excellent computer proficiency with hotel PMS systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc), email
- Takes initiative to find creative ways to respond to guest requests
- Is available for a variety of days/times; day, evening, weekend, stat holidays
- Able to work independently overnight
- Understands that success lies in working together and enjoys being part of a team
- Gets excited by an energetic, fast-paced environment
