Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated carpenter (apprentice or journeyman) to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of construction, including carpentry, concrete work, and fence building. The carpenter will be responsible for executing tasks with precision and safety, contributing to high-quality project outcomes. A strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and the use of hand and power tools is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Perform concrete forming, fencing, and related tasks with attention to detail
- Use hand tools and power tools for framing, cutting, assembling, and finishing work
- Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks to support project needs
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical schematics
- Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and woodworking techniques
- Knowledge of construction practices including siding installation and restoration projects
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Strong carpentry skills with an emphasis on precision and safety
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in demanding environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety compliance
