Reporting to the Arena Operations Supervisor, the Facility Attendant is responsible for the performance of daily duties required to maintain a high level of service within the facility and its grounds. This includes grounds maintenance, ice making and maintenance, general janitorial duties and building supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the making and resurfacing of ice (using Olympia Ice Bears), on all surfaces, and the subsequent cleaning and maintenance of these surfaces as required.
- Responsible for cleaning the interior of the facility, including rugs, floors, dressing rooms, other rooms, bleachers, washrooms, and other areas as required.
- Responsible for all ground maintenance, including building exterior. Maintains the equipment owned and operated by the facility.
- Responsible for conducting general building maintenance service and repairs.
- Supervision of the facility as required.
- Responsible for maintaining positive public relations in dealing effectively with customers, user groups, and telephone inquiries.
- Prepared to work evenings and weekends. Other duties as assigned.

- Dependable, team oriented individuals who take pride in a job well done;
- Previous work experience in arenas is preferred but we will train the right candidates;
- First Aid and CPR certification a definite asset;
- Weekend and evening work required.
Hours:
- Part-time employment.
- Ideally working 1-3 (8.5 hour) shifts per week.
- Available primarily in the evenings and weekends.
- Available to pickup shifts on short notice if required.
