Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Associate to join our team and contribute to creating high-quality baked goods in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, food safety, and delivering excellent customer service. This role involves preparing, decorating, and packaging baked items while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Previous experience in food handling or kitchen operations is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The Bakery Associate plays a vital role in ensuring our bakery products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cookies & Cinnamon Rolls
- Decorate desserts with attention to detail
- Package baked items efficiently for sale or delivery while maintaining presentation quality
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bakery area following food safety guidelines
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring ingredients, and assembling products
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to uphold safety standards
- Stock shelves and display cases with freshly baked goods and ensure proper rotation of products
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service by answering questions about products and ingredients
Skills
- Experience in food/ Quick Service Restaurants is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic kitchen experience including packaging, cleaning, and organization skills
- Passion for baking and creating visually appealing baked goods
