Service Technician
Alberta Compactors (a division under Brad's Metal Works Inc.) is a small business located in SE of Calgary and is looking for a technician to service and maintain industrial equipment such compactors, balers and loading dock equipment.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have a understanding of hydraulics, electrical and have experience with basic welding repairs. The candidate must have a clean driver's abstract and will be expected on-site and in shop. The candidate must have the ability to work on their own without supervision, but must also be able to take direction from the Service Manager. Some evening and weekend work may be required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Servicing industrial equipment throughout Southern Alberta but predominately in Calgary
- Performing Preventative Maintenance Programs on industrial equipment
- Cleaning industrial equipment
- Problem solving faulty equipment
- Responsible for company vehicle
- Keeping shop and company vehicle clean and organized
- Responsible for keeping a detailed service log
- Perform repairs using the correct tools and instructions
- Be able to troubleshoot problems on their own without assistance
- Be able to work independently with limited supervision
- Be able to follow all safety guidelines and procedures
- Be able to communicate effectively with customers and other technicians
- Keep service area clean and organized

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
