Strategic Sourcing Director / Manager – International Meat Trade

Henja International is not looking for a "Procurement Manager" to fill out spreadsheets. We are looking for a Market Hunter. In the current global climate, securing supply is the ultimate red line for survival. We need a strategic leader who doesn’t just follow the market but commands it. Your job is to bypass the middlemen, walk up to the slaughterhouse gates (metaphorically and literally), and leverage your personal capital to secure quotas that others can’t reach. Alao,Direct experience in meat trade is a must and Chinese ( can use Chinese with AI can be accepted, but if you can say Chinese will be appreciated)
【Key Responsibilities】
- Quota Acquisition: Establish direct supply lines with at least 3 GACC-certified Tier-1 Packers (e.g., JBS, Cargill, Harmony, HyLife) within your first 30 days.
- Spot-Market Agility: Secure priority allocation during supply shortages through informal networks, industry swaps, or secondary market maneuvers.
- Execution Velocity: Lock in and facilitate the first shipment within 45 days of joining.
- Cost Leadership: Utilize deep knowledge of packer cost-logic to negotiate F.O.B. or C.I.F. pricing that outperforms standard trading benchmarks.
【Candidate Profile: The Hunter】
- Industry Clout: More than 10 years of high-level operational experience in the North American red meat industry.
- The Rolodex: You must have the direct office or mobile numbers of at least five Sales Directors at major Canadian/US Packers.
- Proven Track Record: Documentation of personally managing 50+ containers of meat export/distribution in the last 12 months.
- "Gray Zone" Problem Solving: When a packer says they are "sold out," you are the person who knows who to call to find the hidden inventory.
- Location: Ideally based in Ontario or willing to travel frequently to the core production hubs in Alberta.
【The Incentive Structure (The Hunter Model)】
We filter for performers, not salary-seekers. Our compensation is designed for those who bet on themselves:
1. Base Retainer: A competitive "survival" base salary.
2. Breakthrough Bonus: A significant one-time windfall for the first successful shipment within 45 days.
3. High-Yield Commission: Industry-leading profit-sharing or per-ton/per-container commissions with no ceiling.
4. Full Autonomy: We don’t track hours; we track results. You are judged solely on the stability of your supply chain and the volume of your shipments.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $100,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
