Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing administrative tasks, supporting staff, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, experience with office management software, and a professional demeanor to handle front desk responsibilities effectively. Duties
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Handle filing systems, document proofreading, and general clerical tasks to support daily office functions
- Support bookkeeping activities and assist with basic financial recordkeeping as needed
- Provide customer support through phone etiquette, email correspondence, and in-person interactions
- Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and manage calendars for staff members
- Assist with medical or dental office tasks such as patient check-in, appointment scheduling, and insurance documentation (if applicable)
- Maintain organized office environment and ensure supplies are stocked and equipment is functioning properly
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably within a medical or dental office setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for proofreading and data entry tasks
- Experience handling multi-line phone systems and front desk operations
- Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to manage filing systems efficiently and perform administrative support tasks accurately
- Prior experience in bookkeeping or medical/dental office environments is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
