Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized therapy services, focusing on pediatric and patient care, with an emphasis on supporting children’s developmental and emotional needs. This role involves working closely with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective treatment plans. The Therapist will utilize their expertise in case management, data collection, and medical terminology to ensure comprehensive care. Experience with children, hospital settings, and special education is highly valued for this position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to pediatric patients’ needs
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, including data collection and case management records
- Assist in patient care activities, ensuring a supportive and safe environment for children
- Utilize medical terminology accurately in all documentation and communication
- Support families through education and guidance regarding therapy processes and developmental milestones
- Participate in research initiatives aimed at improving therapeutic techniques and patient outcomes
- Coordinate with educational specialists when working with children in special education settings
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies during all patient interactions
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in clinical or educational settings is preferred
- Hospital experience or familiarity with pediatric healthcare environments is advantageous
- Strong background in patient care, case management, and data collection related to therapy services
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to pediatric health and therapy practices
- Experience in research or evidence-based practice implementation is a plus
- Background working within special education programs or supporting children with developmental needs is desirable
