Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team for our nights. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential settings, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for clients. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Previous experience in cleaning or hospitality is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
- Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
- Prepare and cook simple meals as needed, adhering to client preferences and dietary requirements
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and household essentials
- Organize and declutter spaces to promote a tidy environment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus
- Experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping preferred
- Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Ability to perform light cooking and laundry tasks effectively
- Exceptional communication skills to interact professionally with clients
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service principles
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and the ability to manage schedules flexibly as needed
