Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and equipment, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities as per Company's Preventative Maintenance program, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers and electrical systems.
- Conduct repairs on the building's equipment such as cooling systems, plumbing systems, or electrical systems.
- Preventative maintenance servicing to air compressors, repairs, upgrades and installations to various air compressors and compressed air systems.
- Inspecting, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing various pumps, gear reducers & drives, motors, shaft seals, bearings, and mechanical seals.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to interpret schematics and diagrams for effective troubleshooting.
- Fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.
Experience
- Proven experience in facility maintenance or a related field.
- Strong electrical experience, with the ability to work.
- Familiarity with food manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- A solid understanding of mechanical systems, with the ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
