About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled videographer to join our established content team at Black Forest Wood Co. in Calgary. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday, 40-hour per week position.
You’ll work under our Social Media Manager, capturing high-quality video of our dynamic workshop where we build high-end custom furniture and solid wood pieces.
Your main focus will be filming the manufacturing process, from raw wood to finished masterpieces, for both our short-form social content and long-form YouTube videos. You’ll move around the shop, anticipate great shots, and deliver clean, engaging footage that fits our established storytelling style.
You’ll also handle editing for short-form content, with occasional support on long-form YouTube videos. Travel for out-of-town or international furniture installs may be required.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong technical skills with cameras and videography
- Experience with basic video editing software
- Ability to capture fast-paced, authentic workshop footage
- A team-player mindset who thrives supporting an established brand voice
- Woodworking knowledge is a plus but not required
