ABA Therapist / Instructor Therapist
We are looking for trained therapists and individuals with a degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child and Youth Work (CYW), Social Work, Behavioural Science and Technology, or an equivalent field to join our growing team.
We are a small but expanding organization dedicated to providing high-quality Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy in both home-based and centre-based settings. We offer comprehensive training, mentorship, and certification opportunities for candidates who are new to the field.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in ECE, CYW, Social Work, Behavioural Science and Technology, or a related field
- Experience working with children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities is an asset
- RBT certification is preferred but not required
- Experience with ABLLS assessments, program development, and data collection is considered a strong asset
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized ABA programs under clinical supervision
- Work directly with children and youth with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Collect and maintain accurate session data
- Collaborate with supervisors, families, and other team members
- Assist with skill acquisition and behaviour support programs
- Ability to provide one to one in-home therapy sessions
- Ability to travel between our Mississauga and Brampton centres as required for scheduled sessions
