We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with both hand and power tools. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues through observation and testing of equipment.
- Perform repairs on machinery, including engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to prevent breakdowns and ensure longevity of equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and installations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Marine Mechanic.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients effectively.
- A valid driver's license may be required.
