Canadian Specialty Castings is seeking reliable and hardworking General Labourers to support day-to-day operations in a fast-paced work environment. The successful candidates will assist with a variety of physical tasks, including frequent lifting, standing for extended periods, and the daily use of a tow motor. Comfort operating a tow motor is a must, as it may be used for the majority of the workday. Candidates without tow motor experience must be willing to be trained and certified.
· Perform general labour duties as assigned by supervisors or team leads.· Load, unload, move, and organize materials, products, equipment, or supplies.· Assist with cleaning, maintenance, and basic site organization.· Operate a tow motor daily to move materials, products, equipment, or supplies safely and efficiently.· Comfortable using a tow motor for extended periods, potentially for the majority of the workday.· Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.· Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production or operational goals.· Report hazards, equipment issues, or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
· Previous general labour, warehouse, manufacturing, or related experience is considered an asset.· Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting and standing for extended periods.· Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to learn.· Ability to follow instructions carefully and work safely in a team environment.· Comfort operating a tow motor daily is required.· Tow motor certification is required or candidates must be willing to complete training and certification if they do not already have experience.
