Job Summary
We are actively hiring Surface Diamond Driller Helpers for immediate and upcoming exploration projects throughout British Columbia.
This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals looking to build a career in the drilling industry. Previous experience is considered an asset, but training opportunities are available for hardworking candidates with strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude.
Our crews typically work rotational schedules averaging 84+ hours per week, providing strong overtime earning potential in addition to production bonuses.
Responsibilities
· Assist drillers with daily drilling operations
· Handle rods, drilling tools, and core samples
· Mix drilling fluids and assist with pumps and water systems
· Perform equipment cleaning, refueling, and basic maintenance tasks
· Assist with drill setup, anchoring, drill moves, and site preparation
· Complete pre-start checks and maintain housekeeping and camp safety standards
· Support safe work practices and follow all company safety procedures
· Operate support vehicles or equipment as required
Qualifications
- Experience considered an asset but not required
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Mechanically inclined and safety conscious
- Physically fit and capable of demanding outdoor work
- Ability to work extended rotations in remote camp environments
- Team-oriented attitude
- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing if required
Certifications & Requirements
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License preferred
- Standard First Aid CPR-C considered an asset
- WHMIS considered an asset
Schedule
- Rotational camp-based work schedules
- Typical rotations average 84+ hours per week
- Day and night shifts may be required
Compensation & Benefits
- $25.00–$30.00 per hour
- Up to $3.30/m production bonus
