Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Plumbing rough-in
- Read and interpret schematics to understand plumbing layouts and specifications.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of plumbing systems to identify issues.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required for installations or repairs.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, during construction or renovation projects.
- Assemble and weld piping systems as needed for specific installations.
- Adhere to local building codes and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Proficient in using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and long hours on the job site.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- A valid plumbing license or certification may be required based on local regulations.
