Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher IT/SN to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and educational experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a love for teaching, and the ability to connect with children and their families.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment where children feel valued and encouraged to explore.
- Educate children on basic academic concepts while integrating play-based learning techniques.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of each child's development and progress through regular assessments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational program that meets the needs of all students.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting lessons and activities to ensure inclusivity.
- Foster a love for learning by encouraging curiosity and creativity among students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proficiency in computer operation for administrative tasks such as lesson planning and record keeping.
- Ability to write clear reports and communicate effectively with parents and staff.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive environment for all children, including those with disabilities.
- A genuine passion for educating young minds and fostering their growth.
