Job Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will be the face of our dispensary, guiding customers through their cannabis journey, answering questions, and recommending products that best meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly manner
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in selecting cannabis products that suit their needs.
- Educate customers about different cannabis strains, products, and their effects.
- Maintain product knowledge on all products sold at the dispensary
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and legal regulations related to the sale and use of cannabis.
- Handle cash and credit transactions securely and responsibly.
- Assist with inventory management and loss prevention, including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts.
- Address and resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional manner.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
Experience and requirements
- Previous experience in cannabis retail is a must.
- Strong knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Minimum 19 years of age
- CanSell Certificate (Mandatory)
- Criminal background check
- Basic math skills and experience with POS systems are a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
