Mike Vail Trucking is currently seeking a full-time Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will work in our shop maintaining, repairing, and servicing gravel trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
Preferred Experience:
Candidates with a background in fleet maintenance will be given preference.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Red Seal Journeyman Welder certification is considered an asset
- Proficiency welding both steel and aluminum
- Experience with Stick and MIG welding processes
- Ability to perform fabrication work on gravel boxes and trailers
- Basic understanding of hydraulics is an asset
- Ability to carry out minor mechanical repairs as required
Responsibilities Include:
- Performing welding, fabrication, and repair work on trucks and trailers
- Assisting with general shop maintenance and related duties
- Completing required paperwork accurately and on time
- Performing other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
